Our 6ft Cisco USB console cable works great with newer Cisco devices, which offer a USB port as a second option for console access. This cable offers the USB B Type mini connector at one end that matches the interface on the Cisco router or switch. The opposite end features a standard USB Type A connector found on most Windows and Apple computers.
Some of the Cisco routers known to accept this type of USB interface include (but are not limited to) the Cisco 1900, 2900 and 3900 series routers, in addition to the Cisco 2960, 3750, and 3750-X Catalyst series switches.
